Beginning July 1, 2025, pantry services will transition back to once every 30 days* per household. This change reflects adjustments in our funding and aligns with the service schedule we followed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We understand this may be a difficult change, and we remain committed to supporting our community with dignity and care. If you have questions or need assistance planning ahead, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
*Example: A client who receives services on July 1 will next be eligible on or after August 1.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
The Pickerington Food Pantry is led by a dedicated Board of Trustees who volunteer their time and expertise in service to our mission. They are joined by a team of over 100 volunteers who generously donate their time on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Through their collective efforts, we are able to serve an average of more than 600 individuals each month residing within the Pickerington Local School District (excluding zip codes 43068 and 43110, which are served by other local pantries).
Our clients represent a diverse cross-section of the Pickerington community—ranging from families with young children to senior citizens and multigenerational households. Life events such as job loss, illness, or injury can quickly place financial strain on families, and we are here to help bridge the gap during difficult times. Thanks to the generous support of our donors and community partners, we are able to fulfill our mission of "Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope."
The Pickerington Food Pantry operates as a choice pantry, allowing clients to select items from various food categories based on their household’s dietary needs and preferences—similar to a grocery store experience. Food assistance is currently available to households once every thirty days, with each member of the household receiving enough food to last approximately five days.
We are committed to providing nutritious food, including fresh produce, whenever possible. Most of the food we distribute is either purchased at significantly reduced rates from the Mid-Ohio Foodbank using donated funds, or generously contributed by local grocery stores, churches, schools, and community members.
Thank you for standing with us as we work to nourish and uplift our neighbors in need.
